Elk hunting season September 2016

The season of the elk hunting during the rut came to its end, so it is high time to sum up and to congratulate our guests who hunted successfully!

Let`s start with some statistics: 24 hunters from Germany, Austria and the Netherlands hunted in the shoots of the Udmurt Republic and Tatarstan. The total result is: 28 elk bulls with the antlers weights from 3 kg bis 10,6 kg, 2 brown bears, a wild boar with the tusks of 19,9 cm.

For the first group - 2 brothers from the Netherlands - the brown bear was the main goal. But hunting from the high seat on the oat fields can be combined with the morning stalking on elk perfectly. The first tries were exciting but brought no trophies. In the last evening Rick Broeze got finally his bear of 113 kg body weight, next morning he got an elk too. His brother Dennes used his chance almost for leaving the shoot - he got a 132 kg- brown bear while stalking and looking actually for an elk!

Some hunters of the second group had already gained some experience in hunting in Russia, Uwe Lehmann and Michael Dr. Hahn enriched their trophy collections. Uwe got in the first 2 days even 2 elk bulls.
