Wolf and Lynx

Wolf

We offer the following opportunities for hunting wolves in winter by the snowpack:

"Fladry" - a group hunting method. After finding the wolf tracks guides encircle the located wolf pack with a fladry, a long rope with small swatches of the red fabric. On perimeter the "flagged" area can reach up to 6 km. The flags being an alien item scare the wolves and prevent them from crossing the line. Each hunter has his own shooting spot within the flagged area. The beaters drive the wolf pack towards the hunters. The hunters shoot at a distance up to 50 m.

"Wolf battue with the aid of snowmobiles" - the hunt assistants detect the wolves upon the tracks and turn them out to the shooting spots or pursuit them with the hunters using the snowmobiles. Shooting distance is about 50 m.

"From the high seat" - an individual hunt provided in the evening by moonlight on the bait stations.

Hunting gun - recommended is a shot gun (caliber 12). Hunting ammunition - buck shot in diameter of 6 mm. During the hunting from the high seat the rifles with the optic and thermal scopes may be used, too. Hunting ammunition - hollow-point bullets. Adjustment fire in advance of the hunt is obligatory!

Equipment - clothes and boots for the temperature from -5 to -25 degrees, torch, knife, batteries, tool kit for the gun cleaning.

Till the 28th of February you can combine wolf hunting with:

- wild boar hunting from the high seat;
- lynx hunting.

The hunter should be physically fit for skiing up to 2 km, although during the hunt the cars and snowmobilies are used.

Lynx

Lynx battue with dogs is a group winter driven hunt. It goes by daylight, approx. from 9:00 till 17:00. Using special dogs the beaters drive lynx to the shooting spots, if a lynx is driven by a dog to the tree, the hunter comes to it into rifle range.

Hunting gun - recommended is a shot gun (caliber 12). Hunting ammunition - shot №00, buck shot in diameter of 6 mm. The use of a rifle with the optic scope is possible. Hunting ammunition - full jacket bullets only. Adjustment fire in advance of the hunt is obligatory!

You can combine lynx hunting with wild boar hunting from the high seat or battue

Cost of the hunting tour: 1580 EUR/hunter

The price includes: invitation for the visa, transfer airport-hunting area-airport, accommodation, full board, guieding and organisation of fladry hunting, transport during the tour through the hunting area, advance preparation of the trophies, veterinary certificate, interpreter services.

The price doesn`t include: flight tickets, visa fee, alcohol drinks, tips, trophy shipping, fees for trophies.
