Hunting results on european elk during the rut 2011:
In the Udmurt hunting areas there were baged 23 elks: 4 of them - wounded, with less than 5 kg trophy - 8, with 6-7 kg trophy - 2, with 7-8 kg trophy - 1, with 8-9 kg trophy - 2, with 9-10 kg trophy - 4, with 11,5 kg - 1 and with 16,0 kg - 1.
One record elk was baged with 16,0 kg trophy. "Not every Canadian elk has such a good trophy"" - says happy hunter from Germany Dr. Gellner Horst.
Average trophy weight is 9,2 kg.
